Motorola Solutions Inc. (MSI - Free Report) recently announced that Oakland County has deployed Motorola P25 radio systems to improve public safety and emergency response services in the region. The Motorola P25 Radio System effectively tackles these challenges by bridging coverage gaps and enabling real-time communication on a daily basis. The upgraded system boasts advanced features, including a recording system that captures all radio traffic and an emergency GPS locator button that enhances the safety of officials in dangerous situations. The system also includes two extra channels to accommodate the increased communication needs, facilitating seamless cooperation among various agencies during large-scale emergencies.
